At Gunn JCB, there’s nothing we enjoy more than getting out into our local communities and connecting with our customers. One of the best places to do this, is at shows and expos. Read on to find out where you can catch Gunn JCB this summer.
Royal Cheshire Show (16-17th June)
The Royal Cheshire Show is entering its 187th year, and is the premier summertime agricultural event in the North West of England. Rooted in farming, the Cheshire Show features numerous competition classes for cattle, sheep, pigs and dairy goats, alongside hundreds more for light and heavy horses, show jumping, rare livestock, poultry, pygmy goats, pigeons, cavies, rabbits and dogs.
Great Ecclestone Show (18-19th July)
At the Great Eccleston Show, you’ll find marquees filled with displays from fruit and flowers to cakes, cheese and chutneys, alongside a large food hall showcasing local produce and a live food theatre. Enjoy demonstrations from traditional rural craftsmen, sheep herding and shearing, beekeeping, a Victorian funfair, stunt riders, Cumberland wrestling, the Memory Marquee and much more, there’s truly something for everyone.
Royal Manx Show (7-8th August)
The Royal Manx Show is the Isle of Man’s agricultural event of the year. The show is a fantastic two‑day family event and the highlight of months of preparation, where exhibitors compete for the Deemster Johnson Supreme Championship, awarded to the show’s best animal. With entertainment across both days, plenty of food and drink, and a wide range of craft and trade stalls, it celebrates Manx life and tradition. Gunn JCB is proud to represent JCB at the show on the Isle of Man as the only dealer.
Anglesey Show (11-12th August)
The Anglesey Show is a two-day event held each August at the Anglesey Showground. With roots dating back to 1872, it offers a great day out for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy fantastic livestock and equestrian displays, arts and crafts, local food and drink, shopping and exhibitions, main ring attractions and a traditional fairground.
